Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On the bright side, the service was exceptional, especially thanks to Cockney Paul who helped us at the pool party – top bloke! However, the location was a bit off the beaten track and noisy due to its vicinity to the motorway. The rooms were quite simple and lacking in fixtures, making it a bit inconvenient for everyday use.
The hotel was a mixed experience overall. The rooms, although in poor condition initially, were the perfect size and had everything needed. Sadly, they weren't ready on time, leading to missing part of the pool party. The service was overly accommodating and clean, although it lagged when a VIP group was present. The location was middle of nowhere without nearby amenities but not too far from Puerto Banus. The dining was good, but the timing of serving could be improved.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. While the rooms were already expensive and situated in a block with permanent residents who could be quite sensitive to noise, the staff was extremely accommodating and kept everything clean. The location was a bit far from town, though it exceeded expectations down by the seafront. The dining experience may require extra payment for water and juice, and breakfast didn't start early. However, the hotel offered convenient parking and a pleasant pool area.
The hotel rooms were spacious and included a kettle, which was great for our hen party group. The beds were comfy, and the lounge and bathroom areas were also spacious, with a small patio outside. Mark Neil, the owner, and the staff, especially Tom and Paulie, were very helpful. However, the location was not as quiet as expected, and the staff's attitude was disappointing.
The hotel is smaller than expected, so renting a car might be necessary for exploring freely. The staff can be overbearing and not very welcoming, which dampened the experience. However, the spacious rooms and comfy beds were perfect for our hen party group.
